We are very happy to share the news of the successful Christmas Craft Fair we attended on Saturday at Wetherby Town Hall. Once again we were there to support the fabulous charity St Vincents whose aim is to fight poverty by giving support to the community by helping to improve their quality of life and offering a holistic range of services.
We were happy to have our own stall along with others who were sharing all sorts of creations and crafts. Naturally we at DG were serving our finest in Coffee and Hot Chocolate. It was a fun filled, festive day and an extra special one too as the whole DG team were out, a real family affair, there together to give back and support those less fortunate, after all that’s what Christmas is about.
All funds that were raised go towards the support of poverty stricken families in Yorkshire struggling this Christmas, offering gifts and emergency provisions and we are very happy to say that the total raised on the day was £1800. 🙂
Natalie Tiu the Events Fundraiser for St Vincent’s said “It was fantastic to have the support of Dancing Goat at our Christmas Fair. Everybody loved the coffee – especially the cappuccinos which near sold out! Having freshly ground coffee on the menu added something a little special for our customers and certainly helped to draw people into the fair, making a huge difference to our sales. We raised an amazing £1800 which has come at a crucial time for the charity as Christmas can be one of the most difficult times of year for families and individuals living in poverty. In addition to our usual services, here at St. Vincent’s, we give families & individuals Christmas hampers with festive goodies and give toys to parents to give to their children on Christmas day. These gifts are an important part of our Christmas service as it means no child goes without a gift at Christmas. Dancing Goat kindly donated all coffee sales from the event to St.Vincent’s – a big thank you to Ian and #TeamGoat!”
